OCC Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics

Sometimes, when it’s late it at night, and I’m all alone, and I’ve had a couple cocktails, I like to…. get a little crazy and….

research make up!

Isn’t that what you do?  Ok, don’t answer that.  Well OCC has been on my radar for quite some time now, their Lip Tars seem to be a cult favorite.

So what’s the big deal with this brand?

First of all, they are 100% vegan and cruelty free.  What does that mean?  It means that none of the ingredients in their products is made or derived from animals, and they also do not test on animals.  YAY for that!

OCC makes eye shadow (loose) ($12 for 2.5g).  Available in 30 shades.

They also make a tinted moisturizer ($25 for 1oz).  I thought it was interesting they have it categorized by yellow based and red based.  There are 12 shades total (6 each).

Airbrush foundation ($25 for 1oz) is also available.  They have the 6 red and 6 yellow based, and also 6 additional shades for blush, highlighting, and contouring.  There are also 6 mixing bases/colour correctors.  A primer and mixing medium are also available.

They have their own airbrush equipment.

They also have glitters and pigments (both are $12 for 2.5g).  There are 13 glitter colors and 7 pigment colors.

They also have a line of brushes ($18-28).  You can buy them individually, or get the entire set of 11 for $225 (you save $18).

And lastly, they have nail lacquer ($8 ea).  There are 4 colors available.

I’m a little disappointed there are only 4 nail polishes listed, I’d definitely be interested in checking out!

And here is the Lip Tar!

I would love love love to get my hands on some lip tar and nail lacquers!  What do you guys think of this brand?

Did you guys have a good weekend?  I know I sure did!  The dance company that I am so very fortunate to be a part of (Larkspur) hosted our first dance competition on Saturday, The Kansas City Classic.   It’s a preliminary competition for the Missouri State Dance Competition.  That’s as much detail that I’ll go into, but it was a BIG deal for us and our fearless leader (Melanie Dailey).  I’m so proud of us!  :)
