Continuing on with the holiday theme here, today’s post is about nail polish! While I do not claim to be any sort of nail polish expert, I am sure about one thing: I like pretty nails. I also can give you a basic run down of polish, including: How many coats does it take to reach full coverage; does it chip; and how the color translates from the bottle to your nail. Pretty much the basics, which really, when it comes down to it, it’s all you need to know.
Check it out!
This polish only took me 2 coats for it to be opaque. I finished it off with a thick coat of Seche Vite and it didn’t chip for 4 days! This is without a basecoat.
I realize 4 days may not sound like a long time for some of you, but I have a huge problem with polish chipping on me. Usually it chips the next day, so 4 days is HUGE for me. You may experience a different, possibly longer, wear time for this polish.
Overall, I really like it! And the price point is nice too, $8 for 0.5oz. I think I may throw some glitter on it (maybe China Glaze Nova?) come around Christmas time for the holiday parties. Holla!
In attempt to help you guys get to know me better, I’m going to introduce you to one of the loves of my life. No, it’ isn’t make-up or shoes, it’s….
I give you Sabrina, she is 2 (almost 3) years old. She’s a rat/boston terrier mix, I rescued her from being put into a shelter. I had no idea when I picked her up two years ago that she would change my life. And, oddly enough, be a little dog version of myself. They say dogs resemble their owners, and I for one can say that it’s true. At least in my case.
Do you have any pets? Have you checked out any of the holiday nail polish collections? Do you paint your pet’s nails (for the record, I don’t)? I’d love to hear about it!
Sabrina and I hope you all have a wonderful day
