Latest Beauty Haul, May 2012

It took some searching, but I finally found some organic coconut oil! It has many uses, cooking and cosmetic. Put some on my lips before bed last night, it smells Yummy! Snagged the glitter at 1 buck a pop from Sally’s, can’t wait to create some looks with it. Make up tip: teal looks good on EVERYONE!
Sephora Daily Brush cleaner. Just spray after use, wipe, and let dry. Great if you are working on multiple clients. Or… if you don’t wash your brushes as much as you should (guilty… shhh).
Zum bar soap. Local brand. Legitimately natural. Got a sampler so I can find a fave.

I hope you are all doing wonderful!

School is moving right along, I’m seeing clients now! I’m giving facials, chemical peels, make-up applications, microderms, waxing…. the list goes on. It’s been quite a journey so far, I can’t wait to see what my next chapter will be!

Follow your dreams, and don’t forget to sparkle 😉

  1. “teal looks good on EVERYONE!” << ———— !!!!!!! :) :) ♥♥

  2. How far along are you in school? If you get some good clients in school, make sure you keep in touch with them, it’ll really help when you get a job (also they may make a good reference)…Also, start working on your resume as soon as you can. If your near an International Dermal Institute maybe try taking some classes… I know you didn’t ask for advice, but these are some things I wish I’d thought about when I was taking my classes.

    • Thank you so much for the tip! I just started seeing clients, I’m about 250 hours in. I will certainly take these tips into consideration!

I love teal as well! Such a fun color to play with.
