Greetings from the road! I’m currently on a road trip to Canada, and on our way we stopped at the Legendary Mall of America! I went straight for the cosmetic related stores, and Lush was one of them.

See what I snagged!
I have heard a lot about this brand, but was reluctant to try it out beacuse I wasn’t sold on their “gimmick.” I’m still not sure if I am, but I picked up some of their most popular items to help familiarize myself with the brand.
First up is the Ocean Salt.

First impression: It smells nice, but the scent is very strong. It smells like a mix of perfume and ocean. I was surprised on how creamy the consistency is, considering that it’s a scrub. I damped my hand and rubbed some on my dry arm, it felt pretty abrasive and didn’t leave behind a reside.
Next is the Dream Cream.

First impression: I dislike the smell, but I ended up getting this one because it I liked the consistency the best compared to the others. It’s very creamy (the first ingredient is oat milk) and doesn’t leave a residue. I can smell a slight perfume scent, and it’s slightly evident when applied on the skin.
Next up is the Lemony Flutter.
First impression: My favorite item, so far! Most cuticle Creams I have are a salve, and are more of an ointment consistency. This is a very thick cream, I can’t wait to spot treat other dry areas on my body! It has a strong lemon scent.
Now it’s time for the Happy Feet kit of 4 products.
First impression: I was lucky enough to do this entire treatment in the store. I probably wouldn’t have purchased any of this on my own, but due to the brilliant salesmanship of a lovely Lush employee, I bought the whole kit. The stand out item from this is the Volcano Foot Mask. A mask for your foot, how cool is that? My poor feetsies need some pampering after I torture them with my heels all day…

Getting some unexpected pampering!
Curious about Lush? Check out their website for more info.

I wrote this entire post from my phone, color me impressed with technology.
Talk to you guys soon -Kayla

Heard some great things about the dream cream but have never tried it. Excited to hear about what you think.
Have a fun trip!
Thanks Gemini! I hope you have a great day
I like the ocean salt, they gave me a sample last time I was there. I’ve been loving their No Drought dry shampoo, since I’ve been hitting the gym more lately.
They gave me a sample of the no dry shampoo! Excited to try it.
I love Lush! I am obsessed with the Lemony Flutter and the Volcano Foot Mask! Their stuff is so fun. Great post! Enjoy your trip!
Thanks! Pretty good considering I updated completely from my phone!
I first tried Lush products when I was in Seattle. The Ocean Salt is amazing, a bit abrasive as you mentioned, but I love it. And the lemony butter cuticle cream is ridiculously addicting! I haven’t tried the foot mask but that sounds dreamy. And the dream cream is wonderfully moisturizing. I’m glad you were able to try out Lush! There customer service is top notch and I love the low-pressure sales pitches.
Umm already obsessed with Lemon Flutter. For reals.
I love Lush! It’s seriously one of the best beauty product companies out there.
Glad to hear that you like it! What’s your favorite product from them?
Probably the Lemony Flutter Cuticle Cream and there bath melts are heaven!
Loving the lemony flutter!
