Did you know that Kiwi contains more vitamin C than any other fruit? Vitamin C aids in collagen production, which is what makes the skin firm. Since we are all in an uphill battle against the aging process, I’d say vitamin C is something we all desire.
This cleanser is super easy to make, and very effective! It’s made from ingredients that you can find at the grocery store (or you may already have everything in your kitchen!).
Lets get started!
Ingredients:
- 1 teaspoon finely ground almonds
- 2 tablespoons plain yogurt
- 1 kiwi
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon olive or almond oil
This recipe makes about 3-4oz.
Optional ingredients:
- 2-3 drops orange essential oil
First, ground up your almonds.
Take out 1 teaspoon and set aside.
Peel and cut up the kiwi. It doesn’t have to be perfect, this is just so it’s easier to puree.
Puree kiwi, make sure it’s not chunky.
Add the yogurt, honey, oil, and almonds.
Blend until creamy, the put into desired containers.
Now it’s ready to use! Just massage onto face (morning or night) and rise! Follow with your favorite moisturizer.
Have you guys ever made your own facial cleanser? How it did turn out?

This looks good. Should you leave it on for a certain amount of time?
I haven’t done it yet, but I’m looking into making soap at some point. For now, Bentonite clay makes a good face mask. Just mix with water to get a paste. It draws out oil and clears away dead skin cells.
Nice! You use this just like any cleanser, just massage on and rinse off. No need to let it set!
