False Lash Application Made Easy

Sephora says: Apply your favorite false lashes in a snap with this innovative tool, perfect for both the novice lash wearer and the aficionado. The rubber-coated grips offer superior hold and control as you place the lash on your lid and the ergonomic design fits comfortably in your hand.  DIRECTIONS: Place lash in the head of the tool and gently squeeze closed.  Tilt chin slightly up to gain easier access to the lash line.  Place the lashes on and release grip.  Use the back end of the tool to tuck it securely into the lash line.

Ever have trouble putting on the false strip lashes?  They end up too far from the natural lash line, the glue makes a mess, one eye looks different from the other, the possibilities of chaos are endless.  If you have trouble applying falsies, this could be the answer to your false eyelash prayers (to those ruthless eyelash gods).

My thoughts
In a nutshell, it’s a customized pair of tweezers with a “smile” shape at tip.  The other end has a pointed silicone triangle which helps secure the eyelash in place.   I’ll be honest, I’ve been applying fake lashes since I was a kid (dance performances, theater) so I have no problem using my fingers.  I use this when working on clients and it’s proven to be very effective.  At the end of the day, yes, tweezers can do the same thing.  However, the “smile” shape does get a better grip on the lashes.  Also, some people may not be comfortable when seeing the end of the tweezers coming towards their eye when securing the lash in place so that’s where the soft silicone tip comes in handy.  Do you NEED this?  If you have a method that works for you, then you could probably skip it.  But if you are looking for an answer to your falsh eyelash prayers, I suggest giving it a try!

  1. I’ve looked at this before and wondered if it was the answer to my problems…generally I can do one eye easy-peasy but then I struggle so with the other that I just say bad words. Maybe I’ll swing by the Sephora and pick it up before the Halloween party on Saturday.

  2. Thank you!! This is exactly what I needed! I’m such a mess with lashes <3

  3. I actually purchased this, and it did help me! Since I’m not a makeup artist, putting on false lashes is still not super easy. But, I do love wearing them.
