Eye cream: something we don’t really incorporate into our skin care routine until our mid to late twenties (and sometimes later). It helps moisturize and prevent wrinkles in that delicate eye area. It sounds easy enough, the directions typically say “apply to eye area, AM and PM.” Well, that’s pretty vague. How much should I use? Should I apply it near or far from my lash line? Should I go up to my brow bone? So many questions! Have no fear my pretties, today I have the answer for you.
Here are some examples of what not to do:

Cream is too close to lash lines.

Cream is too far from lash lines.

Too much product, incorrect placement.
If you’ve applied you eye cream like this (even though the pictures are a bit extreme), no worries. I’ve done it too. These methods waste a ton of product, you really don’t need that much!
The proper way to apply eye cream:

Dab with ring finger around orbital bone.
If you’re unfamiliar with where your orbital bone is located, take your ring finger and touch near the outer corner of your eye. You should feel a bone near the outer corner. Follow that bone up towards the brow and down towards the tear duct, that’s the orbital bone.
