Eyeliner brushes, how much can you really say about them? Pencil eyeliners don’t need them. Liquid eyeliners come with their own applicators. So, why do you need an eyeliner brush?
The answer: gel eyeliner. You have the control of the pencil eyeliner, but the precision and lasting power of liquid liner. However, gel liner comes in a pot therefore you need to get a brush to apply it to your lids.

I’m always on the lookout for any good beauty find, but when it comes to brushes I’m a fanatic. I can usually talk myself out of buying that 14th purple eyeshadow, or another bright pink nail polish… but if I see a cosmetic brush marked down on clearance IT’S MINE.
You can imagine my delight when I found this with that delightful orange sticker on this at my local Target.
Oh, and the best part?
It would’ve been a CRIME not to purchase this, right? Check it out! (more…)

Every girl needs a good kabuki in their brush kit. It’s a versatile brush that can be used with liquid or powder products. You can use it to apply blush, bronzer, and foundation. There are thousands upon thousands of kabukis out there… how do you know which one to get? I asked myself that same question, so I did a little online research to see which ones had a good reputation in the make up world. That’s when I came across. . .

I was reading about some of the upcoming collections from MAC feeling quite underwhelmed (which is normal as of lately, they’ve been neglecting the quality over quantity method). As I was scrolling through some promo images something caught my eye….

The other day one of my fellow make up geek friends and I were having a conversation about MAC brushes. She asked, “Have you seen that brush that’s like the 217, but it’s a little bit longer and is black?” Without hesitation, I said “The 224!” After finding myself trying to explain to her how the two brushes are different, I remember that I had asked that same question to the MAC employee from whom I had purchased this brush from. So, if us two have that question, I figured others probably are asking the same thing. Without further adieu, I give you:
Are they really that different? (more…)
I don’t know about you all, but I did some damage on Black Friday. D.A.M.A.G.E. I didn’t get up 4am to get a discounted television or anything like that. I shopped online in my pjs, sans make up. It was glorious.
I hit up Ulta.com to see what they had, and my attention was immediately drawn to the two Benefit powders for $19.
Where they worth it? Let’s find out! (more…)
Sonia Kashuk and Susan G. Komen have more in common than their initials…
I keep strolling by this brush set at my local Target and convincing myself not to buy it. I mean… I guess I don’t NEED it… but it’s so dang cute. I think if it’s still there on Sunday I’ll take the plunge.
