Ricky Martin and Nicki Minaj for MAC Viva Glam 2012

Ricky Martin and Nicki Minaj in the M·A·C Viva Glam 2012 campaign visual shot by David LaChapelle. Every cent of Ricky and Nicki’s Viva Glam products, on-counter February 2012, goes to support the M·A·C AIDS Fund.

They replace Cyndy Lauper and Lady Gaga from the 2011 campaign.  What do you think of this duo?  I like it… I think… I don’t know.  Can’t decide yet.

Favorite Green Eyeshadows for the Holidays

This whole week I’ve been wearing obnoxious make-up looks to go to the office.  Shimmery eyeshadows, sparkley blush, glitter lipgloss… what’s the occasion?  It’s the holidays, of course!  One of my favorite things that I’ve been playing with is green eyeshadow, and I wanted to share with you guys some of my favorites!

MAC brushes, 217 vs. 224

The other day one of my fellow make up geek friends and I were having a conversation about MAC brushes.  She asked, “Have you seen that brush that’s like the 217, but it’s a little bit longer and is black?”  Without hesitation, I said “The 224!”  After finding myself trying to explain to her how the two brushes are different, I remember that I had asked that same question to the MAC employee from whom I had purchased this brush from.  So, if us two have that question, I figured others probably are asking the same thing.  Without further adieu, I give you:
