I’m used to not be a “nail polish” type of girl. It just seemed like a big hassle to go through all that trouble to put on a base coat, 2-3 coats of nail polish, then a top coat. And, if you manage not to screw that up, you inevitably mess them up while they’re drying. Been there? Me too.
Nowadays, I go through phases where I’ll paint my nails a different color almost every night. It may seem like a lot of work, but it’s a breeze since I found this top coat.

What do ya think? I will have to get Pink Friday, not that I have a need for another pink in my collection… but I love the name. I pick most of my nail polish shades based on the name. Anyone else do that?

It’s the MAC 109 brush. I can’t believe I waited so long to get this thing because it’s amazing. I used it to buff on my foundation, contour with my bronzer, apply blush to my cheeks, and dust a little powder highlighter to my cheekbones. And entire face with ONE BRUSH. I’m in love.

Continuing on with the holiday theme here, today’s post is about nail polish! While I do not claim to be any sort of nail polish expert, I am sure about one thing: I like pretty nails. I also can give you a basic run down of polish, including: How many coats does it take to reach full coverage; does it chip; and how the color translates from the bottle to your nail. Pretty much the basics, which really, when it comes down to it, it’s all you need to know.
