Hand Cream Haul

I’m somewhat addicted to hand creams.  There’s just something about having soft hands and a nice manicure that makes me feel ultra feminine.  My mission to find the best lotion to make my phalanges feel like butta has led me to this post.

Here’s a large part of my collection, just to give you an idea of how much research I’ve done.

 I did include my favorite hand treatment in this photo because the lotion (the last step of the treatment) was taken into consideration for this post. However, since this is strictly about hand creams, the entire treatment was not taken to account.  A hand treatment post is sure to follow though :)

Out of all the handcreams out on the market, it’s hard to figure out which ones to buy.  I typically purchase mine based upon reviews and price.  There were certain things I liked about each one of these, and certain ones that I didn’t like.  I’m not going to go over each lotion and salve individually, I’m just going to give you my two favorites, a budget friendly one and a high end one.

I keep strolling by this brush set at my local Target and convincing myself not to buy it.  I mean… I guess I don’t NEED it… but it’s so dang cute.  I think if it’s still there on Sunday I’ll take the plunge.

One Lemon Sugar Scrub = citrus heaven

As the seasons change from summer to fall, my allergies like to change with it.  Just as I’m starting to miss the hot summer days in my sundress and wedges, the autumn greets me with a snotty nose and watery eyes.  Oh, joy.

This lead me to my local Target the other day to scope out some allergy pills.  I strolled into the store on a mission, no intention of stopping by the cosmetics isle….  I decide to walk through the bath isle instead.  I mean, it’s on the way to the pharmacy anyway…

To my delight I see a bunch of orange clearance stickers on the “One” bath and body products.  This brands selling point is not only the natural ingredients, but also their eco-conscious packaging.  I’m sold.

I picked up a lemon scented sugar scrub.  I’ve been longing for the Burt’s Bees Cranberry and Pomegranate Sugar Scrub for quite some time now, but seeing how it’s $13 for 8oz and the One was on sale for $6 for the same amount of product… I’m sold.
